Airdrie & District Humane Society - Airdrie, Alberta, Canada

The Airdrie and District Humane Society was established as a non-profit organization in 2007 by a group of dedicated volunteers, to address a need for an animal shelter in the area. The organization is committed to promoting responsible pet guardianship throughout Airdrie and the surrounding District.

Currently, ADHS is working with CentrePoint to create a strategic business plan. This plan will be the basis for all future fundraising goals, and will provide ADHS with much needed guidance and direction.

Goals for 2011 include raising funds for a new facility. Please contact Destin Skauge, Volunteer Director, if you have experience in grant research, and would like to volunteer a small portion of your time.
